Asphodelia: Origins

Asphodelia didn't appear fully formed. The city of the Thanatos-blessed became what it is now by way of countless moments and choices. Through the memories Charon carried from before the Shift, it learned. Through the first beings woven by the Moirae, it grew. Every discovery and transformations built the realm of the dead into something greater.

These are the moments that shaped Asphodelia into the city of the dead. The city's history, woven like its people are. This is Asphodelia: Origins.

Every city has a beginning. Every legend starts somewhere.

On the ancient shores of the Acheron, Charon’s eternal work is interrupted when Hades arrives with an impossible gift: Talos, the legendary bronze guardian of Crete, salvaged from destruction and repurposed as a sentry.

Now, the Ferryman of the dead must struggle to accept a new inevitability. To share his shore with a creature who doesn’t have a soul.

Aeons later, that memory will lead to him creating his own son. This is the true legacy of Talos.

Aion: Legacy of Talos

Long before Charon and the Moirae came to Alia Terra, before Aion walked the shores of Asphodelia, there was another automaton. One that taught the ferryman a lesson he never forgot.
